Responding to a new poll by Citizens Advice Scotland saying than more than 7 in 10 Scots are worried about Brexit, Scottish Liberal Democrat leader Willie Rennie said:

"The public are deeply concerned about the shambles that the Conservative party is making of Brexit. The whole process will leave us poorer, more isolated and less secure.

"In the last ten days we have seen Labour MPs in the north east of England, the Royal College of Nursing and student organisations with close to a million members all joining our calls for a referendum on the final Brexit deal.

"I would encourage sensible politicians from the SNP, Labour and the Conservatives to listen to the concerns of the public and give them the final say, with the opportunity of an exit from Brexit."
